Robyn Lightcap is the founding and acting Executive Director of Preschool Promise, Inc., a Dayton-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child in Montgomery County, Ohio, is prepared for success in kindergarten and beyond. Preschool Promise collaborates with schools, families, and community leaders to expand access to high-quality early childhood experiences from birth to age five.

Passionate about uniting diverse stakeholders to improve child and community well-being, Robyn serves as Chair of Groundwork Ohio, the state's leading early childhood advocacy organization, and is a member of the Governor’s Early Childhood Advisory Council. She also sits on the boards of The Village Network, the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, and the Grants Committee of the Warren County Foundation.

With 25 years of experience leading complex initiatives in both business and nonprofit settings, Robyn holds a B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University. She lives in the Dayton region with her husband, Scott, and their three daughters. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring art fairs and farmers markets, attending performing arts events, and discovering new places.
