HOPE Toledo announced today its first official postsecondary graduate through the HOPE Toledo Promise program, Abena Rowland. She graduated from Stautzenberger College with a certificate in addiction counseling and recently started her career as a case manager at Empowered for Excellence.

Today, John C. Jones, President of HOPE Toledo, announced the appointments of Elisa Huss-Hage and Nancy Okuley to new positions in the organization. Huss-Hage is serving as director, Early Childhood Education, and Okuley as HOPE Toledo’s Professional Development and Support specialist.
College Promise Publishes a Policy Brief on the Novel Two-Generation Approach to College Promise: HOPE Toledo Promise Program
The Study is Co-Authored by Northwestern University and HOPE Toledo Promise
College Promise, a national, non-partisan, non-profit initiative that builds broad public support for funding the first two or more years of postsecondary education for hard-working students, and ensuring those students have access to quality educational opportunities and supports, published an important policy brief on the first year of the HOPE Toledo Promise program.

HOPE Toledo Receives Transformational Grant from The Kresge Foundation
HOPE Toledo is thrilled to announce that it is a recipient of The Kresge Foundation’s CoPro2.0 grant program. The program is a $2.6 million grant initiative launched to support equitable and sustainable College Promise programs, such as the HOPE Toledo Promise, the two-generational scholarship program intended to create generational economic change.
