HOPE Toledo aspires to expand efforts to younger students

Having recently announced a second year’s worth of tuition pledges for the post-secondary educations of a Toledo high school’s graduates, HOPE Toledo leaders say they have their eyes set on broader outcomes.

While the organization is thrilled to present scholarships for university, community college, or trade-school tuition to Jesup W. Scott High School’s Class of 2021 as it did for last year’s graduates, HOPE Toledo’s ultimate goal is to prioritize high-quality education for all of Toledo’s youth beginning as early as pre-kindergarten, said its president, the Rev. John Jones.
