HOPE Toledo Adds New Staff Member to Its Growing Team

Toledo, Ohio, Jan. 10, 2023 — HOPE Toledo is pleased to announce the hire of Sareena Cox as office manager and the executive assistant to the President and CEO, John C. Jones.

“As HOPE Toledo continues to serve pre-K providers and hundreds of children, as well as dozens of Promise institutions and hundreds of HOPE Promise scholars, it’s essential that we have an effective central manager,” said John. C. Jones, president and CEO of HOPE Toledo. “Sareena’s skills are second to none and she will be a great asset to all of us.”

Cox most recently served as a financial services representative/loan officer for Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union. In this role, she executed schedule coordination and customer services communications with attention to detail, while operating computer systems and programming, furthering her ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

“We’re thrilled to have Sareena join our team and manage the growing operations of our community-based programming,” said Shawna Woody, vice president of operations for HOPE Toledo.

Cox holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Toledo.
