Generous Donation to Help Jump Start HOPE Toledo’s Mission

Toledo, Ohio, December 8, 2020 — HOPE Toledo, whose mission it is to support and ensure high-quality educational experiences for all of Toledo’s youth—starting with early childhood education (Pre-K) and continuing through post-secondary education—has received a $25,000 gift from The Image Group.

The Image Group is one of the top forty promotional products distributors in the country and is headquartered in Holland, Ohio. Jon Levine, The Image Group’s CEO, stated “We’re grateful to be able to help during an unthinkable time for so many. To support the urgent needs in education and food insecurity, we’re supporting HOPE Toledo, Toledo Day Nursery, The Arts Commission and Connecting Kids to Meals. We imagine a community where everyone who is in need is served and everyone who is fortunate does something great.”

John Jones, president, HOPE Toledo stated, “HOPE Toledo is most grateful to Jon and his team for this generous gift. As we establish HOPE Toledo to support and ensure the education of our youth— from cradle to career—our goal is to create generational economic change for the betterment of our families and our community.” HOPE Toledo recently opened its office at 300 Madison, Suite 1400A in downtown Toledo.

HOPE Toledo is a 501(c) 3 organization established to help Toledo area children obtain high-quality early childhood education (HOPE Toledo Pre-K) and post-secondary training in college or trade schools (HOPE Toledo Promise).

In conjunction with Toledo Public Schools, Washington Local Schools, early childhood education providers and many other educators and service organizations in our community, HOPE Toledo Pre-K will help improve school readiness outcomes and subsequent school performance. More children will enter kindergarten ready to learn.

In addition, building on the foundation of the Scott Promise, launched by the Kadens Family Foundation, HOPE Toledo will assist with post-secondary education through HOPE Toledo Promise.
